2010 REPAST

As you know, the League of Women Voters Education Fund has a long, honorable and well-earned history of encouraging civic engagement throughout the Houston community. We are scrupulously non-partisan and never endorse any candidate or align with any political party. Our mission is simply to encourage full and informed participation by providing easily accessible information and support services. Our voter outreach activities, candidate forums and Voters Guide publications are sustained by the spirited dedication of our volunteers.

Since 2002, the League has honored distinguished individuals at our annual “Repast” fundraising luncheon. We are pleased to announce that the honorees for Repast 2010 are William P. Hobby, Jr. and Jon Lindsay, two gentlemen who have over the course of a lifetime contributed mightily to our beloved Texas home.

Repast 2010 will be held on February 25, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel. We ask you to join us. Your generous involvement will help celebrate Mr. Hobby’s and Mr. Lindsay’s unique accomplishments and help support the unique work of the LWV Education Fund.
